When preparing for the birth of a new baby, packing a hospital bag is a necessary for mother and baby. To ensure you have everything you need for a hospital stay, consider packing the following things into your hospital bag :

1. Pack loose, comfortable clothes for labour and afterwards for yourself. Remember to include a robe, slippers, and extra underwear.
2. Toiletries: Pack travel-sized toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion to refresh up during your stay.
3. Snacks: Bring nonperishable snacks to keep you energised throughout labour and after delivery. Granola bars, nuts, and dried fruit are excellent choices.
4. Bring a book, magazine, or electronic gadget to pass the time while labouring or recovering.
5. Nursing essentials: If you want to breastfeed, bring nursing bras, breast pads, and lanolin lotion.
